Android gets Google's "Bouncer" to Secure & Guard Android Market !





Android , one of the Most popular & fastest growing  OS of smartphones , with already more than over 11 Billion apps downloaded from Android Market , is all set to get a new Addition security layer for its own Android Market .

Google has just announced in their Official Mobile Blog Post about the development and release of an addition security parameter codenamed as "Bouncer"  that will provide automated scanning of Android Market for potentially malicious software without disrupting the user experience of Android Market or requiring developers to go through an application approval process.





The analysis will be performed not only on the applications that are to be added , but also on already existing in Android market & Developer's accounts .

Th Working of Bouncer is very much basic , as soon as an Application is submitted into the Android market it is immediately scanned for any possible malwares ,trojans or spyware by Bouncer . After that possible red flags are detected on basis of comparison with previously analysed apps .

As announced by Google in the Blog Post ," The service has been looking for malicious apps in Market for a while now, and between the first and second halves of 2011, we saw a 40% decrease in the number of potentially-malicious downloads from Android Market. "
