Google Chrome 18 released with Enhanced GPU acceleration and WebGL Support , Download Now !

Google has released Stable version of Google Chrome 18 after the early news that came past week regarding Chrome becoming world's most famous browser temporarily and Today it has come with stable release of the 18th version having extended and Enhanced GPU acceleration with more support for WebGL .

Google Chrome 18 comes with enabled GPU-accelerated Canvas2D on capable Windows and Mac computers making  web applications like games perform even better than a pure software implementation.

The next Main improvement that comes in this version is  More support for WebGL which makes and enables  compelling 3D content on the web by making use of the software named SwiftShader which would bring this technology to users with older configurations .

Apart from these main updates many bug fixes and security amendments took place which you can read about in the Google chrome Releases or check out in the Official Blog Post .

You can check your at present acceleration usage by typing "chrome://gpu" (without quotes) and pressing enter.
