Extend Your Dropbox Storage by 3GB using Automatic Upload Feature.

Google Drive has taken most of the Online Cloud storage like Skydrive,Dropbox set abck by offering 5GB Of free space to their users and to join in the battle Dropbox is now offering tis users a new way by which they can extend their storage space upto 3GB.

The latest update from Dropbox completes its second promotion taking on from the first one in which they offered upto 5GB Of free storage to their users who Tested Beta.

What's new in Dropbox 1.4.0 ?

Dropbox has launched its new Web interface for its photos page where you can view your uploaded photos instantly. The second thing involved in this update is the new Automatic upload feature. This new feature allows you to instantly upload all your photos automatically from your Mac or windows by just connecting your device which holds your images and with few shakes of mouse your Upload will start providing you the same size,quality and resolution to view on the new Photos page.

How to extend your space upto 3GB?

The main thing that we all want to know is how to extend the storage with this new updated to 3GB. Its pretty simple actually but you would have to work for it and its not as easy you have to just click on an upgrade button and your storage will be extended.

Dropbox will provide you with 500MB of free storage if done via Camera upload and as soon as you consume it it will again provide you with another 500MB. Going this way you can get a total space of upto 3GB.

Notes

  • Free space will be provided only to those using Camera Upload Feature.
  • Space will not be allocated if you move your images across to Camera folder.
  • If you got 5GB of storage data during the previous promotion you are not eligible for this.
