Gmail has introduced Custom themes for your Mail account which you can use to set your own preferred,favorite,etc. image as an Background image. With this Gmail has expanded the Theme section from the last year Introduced HD Themes.
With these now Gmail users have 2 Types of themes to use from -
- Color, HD, and Classic themes
- Custom Themes
Custom Themes in Gmail
Custom Themes in Gmail have been basically designed to set your personal/professional mail account in your own way and as per your Mood. There are 6 ways by which you can set or choose a featured image -
- Featured
- My Photos
- Photos from Phone
- Upload Photos
- Paste a URL
- Recently Selected
So now having understood what it Basically is, Gmail has started rolling out Custom Themes feature with Light and Dark Options.
The images that you would choose and set as background would remain Private in your Private Albums and remain visible to you.
