Samsung Galaxy S3 is at present one of the best smart-phones fighting in the market with Apple iPhone 4s and other smart-phone makers. Series of Galaxy smart-phones by Samsung has been a great boost to the company and has helped it occupy a very large share of smart-phone market over the world. 1) Galaxy SIII was powered by Android 4.0 ( Ice Cream Sandwich) Operating system whereas Galaxy NOTE 2 should be in with the next version of Android to be released by Google named Jelly Bean.
2) We already have witnessed the camera quality of S3 with its 8MP camera and Note 2 is rumored to get a 12MP camera with HD video recording support.
3) S3 was built with Exynos 4212 Quad-core Processor (1.4 GHz). The next version of NOTE, whatever it be called, shoudl be at-least run on Exynos 5250 Quad-core Processor (2 GHz) .
4) 1.5 GB of Primary Memory (RAM) is much expected in Note as compared with 1gb OF S3.
5) 5.5 inch Super Amoled Touch Screen with HD display is largely expected as compared to 4.8 inch of S3. Galaxy note was originally having a 5.3 inch screen.
6) PenTile matrix which is used in Galaxy S3, will be used in this upcoming gadget to make Super AMOLED touch screen. With PenTile matrix, you can expect something better in touch screen as compared to Galaxy Note. You will get fast responsive touch screen and less power consumption as well.
7) Another much introduec feature to be introduced in Note would be 4G LTE providing great connectivity and amazing speeds.
Further it is expected that when it comes to memory this edition of Galaxy Note might feature a 64GB version as well with already available 16 and 32GB versions. Bluetooth v4.0 is possible as well.

Price
Galaxy S3 was not expected to be around Rs.42,500 but Samsung remarkably launched this at a very very high price. At present Galaxy note is available for Around Rs.31,000 so considering both aspects of Note original and S3, Galaxy note 2 would cost high as well.
Release & Launch
Again this remains a suspense but indications are towards a October launch which also marks the time around which Apple iPhone 5 would be launched or already launched. The launch of Note 2 also marks a great gadget war between the Giants named Samsung and Apple, making a great competition between Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
It has been already said by Foxconn CEO that," Apple iPhone 5 would put Galaxy S3 to Shame !". So we can expect a great war and tremendous new features for the next quarter of 2012.
