Opera Software via the State of the Mobile Web has officially disclosed an Opera Press Release claiming and announcing that India is the second largest userbase of the Famous Opera Mini .
The Study came after analyzing a total of 22 countries amongst which India stood at the second place with as much as 180 Million Mb (Mega-Bytes) of traffic flowing through Opera Mini .
As the Press-release reveals Most of the Indian users are found heavily sitting on Facebook , the world's Most Famous Social Networking website and also watching and browsing through the Online Videos !
As said by Jon von Tetzchner, Co-founder of Opera Software in the Official Press Release , Quoted ,"We see India standing tall as a country in rapid development, with Internet-based knowledge at the forefront of that growth.
Jon further claimed and said that ,"Furthermore, the mobile Web in India has evolved as an important place to do business, as the proportion of people going shopping on the mobile shows "
Few Points that also emerged from the survey regarding India especially were :-
1) Orkut usage has declined to a great extent and the usage of Facebook has increased tremendously well !
2) The Number of pageviews have increased from 390 to 430 as compared to the previous year !
3)Vuclip and Mobile2day have jumped up in the top 10 list and are gaining a lot of viewers as providing a great Mobile experience !
