Just a day after the Release of Chrome Beta for Android , Google has released the Stable Version of Chrome 17 which is integrated with Pre-Rendering & Safe Browsing Technology .
Google Chrome since launch has been working to Build a browser which is totally secure and the fastest ever and with its present stable release is very close to achieve that and today updated about the latest stable version release in the Official Blog .
The pre-rendering feature included in the stable release will take browsing speed to the next level as it aims to load web pages in the background even before you type your address or search term in the omnibox . Once a user confirms to display the auto loaded page and press enter , the Page will be in front of you instantly .
As said by Chrome during the beta release earlier this year ," Prerendering reduces the time between when you hit Enter and when you see your fully-loaded web page--in some cases, the web page appears instantly."
Let's now talk about the other aspect in this stable release which concentrates on the Security end . Chrome has now extended its security to check on the files you download with its own prepared whitelist , If the comparison or publisher is not found in the white list , it will automatically begin the check through Google to see and analyze if the source of your download is not overloaded with malicious links & downloads .
Before it lets you continue it will show you a warning message if it considers the download to be malicious and it will be user choice to discard it or not .
Since Google already knows that many of the users might be feeling irritated with these warning messages you can Disable the Phishing and malware protection and set your own preferences !
