Since April 9 and more effectively from Yesterday 4:00 PM (IST) If you are an Indian user of Opera Mini with Tata Docomo as your Internet Service Provider then you must have seen issues and cases in your friend circles and community that you are unable to use Opera Mini browser for browsing web .
When i called customer care i was informed that Tata Docomo is doing some kind of Testing with Opera Mini or vice versa and all Tata Docomo customers will not be able to use till April 13 ,2012 .
They have promised to fix the issue by April 13 and that is the deadline the support has . I tried my best to dig down into but they reverted most times with saying there is some problem from back-end and we all would have to wait till April 13 to get back to use Opera Mini .
I was trying to solve the issues with all basic troubleshooting steps before contacting them as even i was unable to use it on my Android but now we have no choice to wait .
Basic Troubleshooter Steps even after the due date this issue is not fixed -
1) Clear your browser cookies and cache .
2) Remove the Browser and Re-install it again .
3) Check your Internet settings and make sure you have selected "TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET" as APN for browsing the web .

Apart from that you guys can use UC Browser as an alternative or turn to your Default mobile browser .
Please comment below if you need any help regarding GPRS settings from me and i would be there to help you ou. Even if after these 3 basic issues your browser does not start to function call TATA DOCOMO customer service at 121.

- Go to Menu - Browser - Settings and click on Profiles .
- Add New Profile with name TATA DOCOMO. Choose your desired Home page or use http://www.google.com
- Make Data Bearer as GPRS Only and choose OFF in enable proxy.
- After that move to Advanced Settings and put TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET as the apn.
- Press OK.
- Go to Menu-Settings-Configuration and jump to Personal Configuration .
- Move to Options-Add New-Web
- Enter TATA DOCOMO in Account name , Choose your desired Home page or use http://www.google.com
- Leave User Name and Password Blank and choose NO in using Preferred Access Point.
- After that Select Access- Access point setting- Bearer Settings- Packet Data access point and put the apn as "TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET" . You are almost done , Press OK and skip all other options .
- Return to Personal Configuation where you will see "TATA DOCOMO INTERNET" , Press Option-and then Activate.

Thanks for this information, i was facing the same problem since yesterday but coudn't figure out the reason. Now atleast i am at little peace and i'll wait till April 13 to see if the issue is fixed.
Also since you have more knowledge about the browsers and settings, can you help me with this problem that the latest version of opera mini doesn't work on my phone. Infact any version - 6 or Higher, does not work. I own a Nokia E5 and as soon as i try to run it after installation my phone restarts but the browser doesn't work.
Please help me with this.
Thanks for the info, me and my friends were wondering about this. If it isn't fixed soon we'll probably switch carriers, it's too good an app. Fingers crossed till 13th !
Are you getting any error message in specific when you open your browser after your phone turns on again ?
Have you made sure TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET is selected as APN as described in above settings for Nokia mobiles ?
exactly same here , i'm thinking the same as i am getting very bad network quality and my call really hangs in 1
yaa i faced d same problem from 10th april..
opera is vry gud browser.. Tata docomo should resolve d problem as soon possible...
plz..... give me detialed 100% working docomo free internet for all nokia mobile & for nokia 6300c plz................. help me

Or better yet, boycott Tata Docomo for their fraud. Use a different operator, and keep using Opera Mini without problems!
Opera is back and running. I guess I'll stick with docomo for now.

Yes apart from the data gprs issue i am also facing sever call network issues when i am unable to hear anything from other end .
If this issue does not get solved i'm sure to go for MNP , docomo is cheap no doubt but services are getting poorer ..
