Android users of United States always had the privilege of Seeing Amazon offering "App of the Day" for free download, where the users were able to get a paid application absolutely free every day selected by Amazon app store. Apple users must have wondered why are we not in this and perhaps there is some answer out for them.
Apple seems to have jumped in to attract and save their iOs users and finally they seem to be starting off with "App of the Week" offer giving away a paid app for free exclusively via the Apple app store.
This was first tweeted out via App Store's twitter account, which said,"Cut the Rope: Experiments is our #FreeAppoftheWeek. Go to the App Store for your free download."
Cut the Rope: Experiments is the first game that has kicked things off and is being offered for free. The description of this app also confirms the same by highlighting "***FREE FOR A LIMITED TIME***"

However Apple has not released any official confirmation of the same but this should be true as the Hash tag "#FreeAppoftheWeek" is pretty much decisive of what Apple is up to.
