Dell India had recently removed DELL XPS 15 laptops from its website displaying only Dell XPS 14z and this was reflected in Today's latest refresh by Dell as well which included only XPS 14 powered by 3rd generation Intel Ivy Bridge processors for Rs. 82,990 in India. Most of the regions would also not be getting the XPS 15 and would have to be satisfied only with the 14 inch version of XPS Series. At present there are no plans as of expanding the 15 inch XPS series across most of the regions of Asia.
Dell XPS 14 is just acting as a synonym to Dell XPS 13 ultra-book launched earlier this year as with the thickness and size in which it would be made is available is clearly matching that of a normal Ultra-book specification. Apart from the Tapered design of XPS 13, it has an Aluminum LID, Gorilla glass screen and coated with magnesium alloy palmrest .
