Firefox 13 Beta introduced with SPDY and New Default Tabs Page.

Firefox 12 was release across just a few time back and in no time Firefox with its Latest release cycle is back with a New Firefox 13 beta version for Developers to Download and use.

The 2 really Major improvements in this new Beta are as follows -

1) Default SPDY protocol

Leaving behind the days of HTTP protocol Firefox 13 would have enabled SPDY protocol by default which would work on making browsing more secure and providing fast loading on websites that support SPDY networking.
SPDY Protocol is seen as the next thing after HTTP protocol which is intended to reduce the loading time of a webpage considerably and provide users with a faster browsing experience.

2) New Tab Page

Firefox 13 Most Visited

If you happen to be a Chrome or Opera user then you must know one of the best feature being its Default Tab pages which sorts up,combines and shows the Most Visited websites every time a New Tab is opened to allow you one click access saving your time. Whenever you will open a new tab you will be shown your most visited webpages.

Apart from these 2 New inclusions Firefox has added some more enhancements in this version which includes "Tabs on demand" while restoring a session and many bug fixes and improvements to Web Developer tools with a New Home page.

Tabs on Demand

Till today when i had not used and upgraded to Firefox 13 Beta i had that thing also happening whenever i lost my session with a lot of tabs and tried restoring it started loaded all the tabs but not anymore. With Tabs on demand it allows user to demand the tabs which they want to open, Fair enough ?

New Default Home Page

The Home page now includes Downloads,Bookmarks, History, Add-ons,Sync and Settings links to provide a quicker and direct access.

Apart from that for developer as said in the blog-post,"Page Inspector now allows you to lock in CSS pseudo-classes on inspected page elements and Style Editor now saves CSS files loaded via file:// URLs without prompting to make the workflow for experimenting with CSS much quicker".
