Recently i posted on this website about the reality and the back end about Shake To Charge Battery and Solar Charger Android Apps in Google Play which was received very well by many users and helped them know whether it was real or not, Today in this article i would be updating about the ongoing trend and hype of Lie Detector Apps in Google Play. The Application is Advanced Lie Detector Plus.
If you happen to read on user comments you would see many people admiring it saying it really determines stress,it picked my friend lies,etc. but this is not the reality .
Let's dig a little more in the Description of the Application as published in Google Play ,"Voice Stress Lie Detector based upon NATO detection algorithms. Implemented NATO algorithms form their published research on computerized voice stress analysis. I make no claims as to the accuracy of their algorithms.
Furthermore, please be aware that this app uses research published by NATO. I make no claims as to the accuracy of the stress/lie detection capabilities of their algorithms.I have only implemented one particular algorithm (TEO-CB-Auto-Env), as I was curious if real world results would match their lab test results. Many smart-phone users generally ignore the description and just click on Download the application and start using it, As the App Developer clearly mentions in the description the application is not bound to be accurate and is just based on an algorithm which will detect the stress in your voice and if you are fearing it would be catching up your lies.
Of-course not! However this app can be really worthy in case of playing pranks on your friends and make some fun. The app has been reported to crash many times with force close and also buttons are not displayed correctly for many users. So definitely there are some bugs going on in the application.
Meaning no offences i have published this article just to let people know that these apps can be really good,funny and limited to pranks and enjoyment but never being taken serious for and you should not come to a conclusion or take some decisions based on the outcome of the app.
On a positive note i really like the thinking behind these applications and you can really use it to have fun, play pranks, show off your smartphone on a joke side with your friends and community. The app is really full of fun and you can have amazing moments with it as well.
