Pending the release and final announcements of the features of Apple’s next iPhone, speculations from the masses and Cell Phone Experts just never stopped going around. We couldn’t blame them since everyone is excited about how the iPhone 5 can become more functional that its predecessor and better the other smartphones in the market today.
People are making assumptions based on what most people are looking forward to in a smart phone and what the standard features are with the latest and sophisticated models of smart phones from the leading companies. Until Apple makes their final announcement, people can only hope that their speculations, especially those pertaining to the good features, will take effect on the next iPhone. But considering Apple’s reputation in coming up with a device that consistently takes people by the storm, people can certainly expect the best things to come for the iPhone 5.
Now coming to the main rumor that is coming today is regarding the release and launch of Apple iPhone 5 either by the end of August or early September. As per Chinese website, Sina, the next gen iPhone would be witnessed this year itself near August end or early September. Foxconn CEO had already stated Consumers should wait for the iPhone 5 because it will put the Samsung Galaxy S III to shame.
Here’s what everyone else knows about Apple’s next iPhone:
1. The four inch screen – It may be considered a fearless speculation considering that iPhone has retained its 3.5 inch screen size for the rest of the iPhone series even until their iPhone 4s but there are a couple of good reasons for them to finally increase their screen size. One of these is the iPhone fans’ clamour for a screen size bigger than 3.5 inches. Another reason is, it is almost standard for all smart phones to have a screen size that is four inches or more in its diagonal measurement.
2. Thinner glass – Still pertaining to the next iPhone’s screen, the top glass is expected to become thinner this time, creating a narrower effect which makes the view much clearer. The current iPhone has two layers of glass, the touch sensor layer and the LCD displayer layer which is placed on top of another but the next iPhone will be having an in-cell touch panels which means the two glass layers will be combined into one.
3. Faster processor – People of course, knew that the next will iPhone will be faster than its predecessor. The latest iPad is powered with the A5X processor so this is what people is expecting with the iPhone 5. On the other hand, the A6 chipset may also be used by Apple for the next iPhone.

4. 4G LTE Network – Again, this technology is already included in the latest iPad and it is very likely that Apple will include this is the iPhone 5. However, this technology which is a faster means of connecting to a network, is known to consume a huge amount of battery power as well and for that reason, Apple will also most likely include a bigger and more powerful battery but without compromising the whole device’s thickness.
5. iWallet – This feature is what most people are almost certain about since Apple has already acquired a ‘major patent’ for this technology. This feature using Near-Field Communication to do credit card transactions by placing the iPhone near a payment device will make an iPhone into a digital wallet.
