Google's Android reaches 200 Million Devices (activated) .

Google is on a roll since the Beginning of the Event Yesterday , After the Launching of the Music Store , Google also announced yesterday in the event that Worldwide there are 200 millions Activated Android devices are being used which is a clear sign of Google's triumph in the Mobile OS world !

When Apple's CEO Tim Cook , on the Most famous events of this Tech year on 4 October unveiled about near about 250 Million IoS devices being sold , Everyone saw Apple still going ahead of Google , But this Fact has just matched Google back up with The Apple IoS .



With Google also releasing in the Samsung Galaxy Nexus enriched with Android 4.0 , also called as the Ice Cream Sandwich , this count is expected to rise a lot more in the upcoming Months .

At present near about 550,000 devices are being activated Today which is a very Good sign of the Android's progress  . In the smartphone categories there is Just no match for the Android .

As the stats revealed by ComScore Android occupies about 43% of the smartphones segment as compared to the 27% by Apple's IoS .

However As per the Platform versions details on the Android Developers site it clearly suggests that most of the Android users are still in the Range of 2.xxx versions mostly due to the Updates being not provided for their smartphones or delay by the Companies !

As also you can find from the Pie chart , still only 2% are using the Honeycomb version and 40% are still on the Android 2.2 Froyo !
