Just a few days back i wrote a benefit of Facebook's Android application in accessing accounts that are locked due to Login approvals issue and today i'll be writing about the Latest update that has been rolled out for Facebook for Android.
Yesterday's update brings 1.9 version of Facebook for Android with a major introductions that allows the users to share the messages and photos from the Home screen.
I was waiting to get this update from past night but was not seeing it but then the only for you to get this new version is to uninstall and install it again, You would most probably get the latest version of the application on your device as you can see in my above screenshot.
The Other Major improvements included in this version are as follows -
When i upgraded to the latest version i really felt a change in speed and better management with my device. Friends that were online on mobile devices were also clearly visible when checking out the chat. I can feel there is a good change in performance and its much smoother. I have no doubt if Facebook would make it very closer to its Desktop version in coming time.

- More messaging features like creating group messages and adding friends to existing group conversations
- Shortcuts to share photos and messages right from your home screen
